The Silver mountain is located somewhere in Colorado, where at the end of 19th century seekers established prosperous mines giving the birth to the small settlement Aspen.
Like many of other boom towns Aspen has almost vanished from the earth after the Silver Crash , but what saved the town was actually the same mountain, but taken from the surface.
The first skiers appeared in Aspen shortly before the Second World War and several years after its end the cozy town became popular among both rich and not so rich.
Everybody wanted to ski in Aspen. Near the historic town builldings blossomed the posh residences, and the sleepy streets found themselves changed into the catwalk promenades.
But the snow is perfect in Aspen. Over 300 miles of white slopes of four mountains, ski schools for children, but also demanding - double diamond runs challenging the best skiers,
5 snowparks, trails for cross-country skiing and sledging, picturesque on slope restaurants, and bubbling apre-ski nightlife.
